Every ISM student in grades 1-12 signs up and participates in an extracurricular activity on Monday afternoons. Activities change three times a year so students can opt for a variety of interesting things to do. In recent years, some of the activities offered include many different sports, kite making, origami, paper airplane making, ecobottles, chess, board games, cooking, yoga, bird watching, Venezuelan natural history, guitar, instrumental and vocal music, girl scouts, arts and crafts, tumbling, Model U.N., yearbook, debate, drama, digital photography, digital video, web-based journalism, martial arts and many others. Also offered after school on days other than Mondays are the following activities: instrumental music, team sports, Model U.N., Forensics, SAT Practice.
